What Is Cap4Kids?
Reliable, up-to-date information about resources in the San Antonio area for children and families. Cap4Kids will help you find many community agencies that exist to improve or enhance the lives of children, teens and families.

The Texas Rising Star program is a quality rating and improvement system (QRIS) for child care programs participating in the Texas Workforce Commission’s (TWC) Child Care Services program. Texas Rising Star certification is available to licensed centers and licensed and registered child care home facilities that meet the certification criteria.
The Texas Rising Star program offers three levels of quality certification (Two-Star, Three-Star, and Four-Star) to encourage child care and early learning programs to attain progressively higher levels of quality. These certification levels are tied to graduated enhanced reimbursement rates for children receiving child care scholarships.

Sesame Street offers a tons of resources that help kids and parents with what matters most in young lives: health and wellness, social-emotional skills, and school readiness. All are critical to children’s healthy development… and together they build the foundation for a happy, healthy life.
Just Kids participates in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). CACFP serves nutritious meals and snacks to eligible children and adults who are enrolled for care at participating child care centers, day care homes, and adult day care centers. CACFP also provides meals to children residing in emergency shelters, and snacks to youths participating in afterschool care programs.
