Like everyone, I have my prejudices - my opinions about those who do not agree with my view of the world. Yet my incapacity to love them is my own contribution to the fears that plague the planet. Today I seek to love even those I cannot bring myself to like. I devote my day to blessing those whom I do not like, knowing that if I knew them as God knows them, then I would love them as He does. I ask not that they change but that I might see them more clearly. May their innocence become obvious to me.
Dear God, I am willing to see the love In those whom I cannot bring myself to like. I am willing to see the innocence in those I judge And the beauty in those I condemn. Please heal my mind of its own darkness. Amen.
